Vidya HelpLine is one of the flagship projects of Nirmaan Organization (www.nirmaan.org) started in 2010 with a focus on career guidance to economically backward students and dropouts, especially from rural areas, enabling them to make effective educational and career choices thereby helping them achieve eventual economic empowerment. 

The project has supported about 14,43,804+ students/dropouts through various interventions such as Tele Counseling (8,81,050+ calls), Career Workshops (11,256+ Government Schools reaching out to 9,91,278+ Students), Train the trainers (2381) and has impacted students in the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Assam, Odisha, Tamilnadu & Jammu & Kashmir. The project has received various National and International awards from organizations such as IBM,  Vodafone, NASSCOM Foundation, US Consulate etc., 

With most of the students in rural India being the first generation learners, there is very minimal guidance/no guidance on how to continue their Education and what career opportunities are available for them to pursue. There are many students, especially in rural areas, who are not able to utilize the opportunities in government and private sector. Vidya HelpLine, is a unique solution to bridge this knowledge divide in students and dropouts and help them make leaned career choices rather than ignorant ones.

Social Cause

1.Lack of Career Information and Guidance to the students, especially from underprivileged backgrounds resulting in dropouts/ lesser aspirations & career.

2.Students are choosing careers without much awareness resulting in lesser interest in studies leading to getting into areas of employment with less interest or drop out of education.
