Odisha Village Knowledge Centres Inaugration

3rd June 2014

Starting with our first centre today on 3rd June, 2014, VHL Odisha team will be setting up 5 Village knowledge centers in remote places of the state. Our vision is to provide free access to information on Education, Careers and Employment and we aim to carry it further through these knowledge hubs. We would also eventually expand to other domains based on local need. The center has been given for free from the local people. We thank them for their faith in our team and would strive to bring about a change through active involvement and constructive participation. VHL has also launched Young Leaders Fellowship Program through these centres.

Fellowship Program for Young Leaders:

Nirmaan, the parent organisation of Vidya Help Line is taking a unique approach to foster local leadership. Our knowledge centers would be run by local unemployed youth and future young leaders from these rural places would be connected to our fellowship program. Fellows would be provided with leadsership training, mentorship and networking opportunities which would help transorm into future leaders.

Our hearty congratulations and wishes to all the volunteers and team members of VHL, Odisha state on this remarkable begining.
